The history of APS Eco-innovation dates back to 2009,
when Lukasz Adrian and Szymon Szufa began to
collaborate in the field of renewable energy
technologies.
From 2009 to 2015, the founders of APS
Eco-Innovation provided scientific advisory services
related to environmentally friendly technologies such as
heat tubes based on biodegradable refrigerants,
machinery and equipment for the conversion of biomass,
and RES technologies in sustainable construction.
In
2012, Peter Piersa joined the research team and APS
began to work intensively in delivering professional
advice and training for companies in the field of energy
management, RES low energy construction, energy
audits, heat pumps, solar heating systems and
photovoltaics.
Over 6 years of activity APS has implemented two
industrial installations, filed two patent applications,
published 60 articles and papers, and completed 17
training and consulting projects in the area of
renewables and energy efficiency in buildings (single-
family homes and industrial units).
These have included
the design of hybrid power plants powered by biomass in
the municipality of Daszyna (a project co-financed by the
Ministry of Environment), and the design of a heat
exchanger constructed out of heat pipes.
